Orange's Nuzlocke: Red Version, Extra # 2

So... this was supposed to go up for Mother's Day... That obviously didn't happen. I need to manage my time better when it comes to planning these extras. :/

This is also one of my first tries at drama, so sorry if it seems corny, or if it doesn't seem to hold up as a backstory. But I wanted to show a strong bond between mother and daughter. Raising a kid on your own is tough, and I wanted to show that while it can be hard, and sacrifices need to be made, what is left between the parent and child can be really beautiful. 

 I also wanted to show why Orange's dad isn't in the picture. I probably could have made it less depressing though. 

Also, this takes place right after Chapter 7. Orange is at the police station after the Mt. Moon incident. I mean, her mom does deserve to know when Orange gets involved with breaking a crime ring. It's a shame that the original Pokemon games didn't have phones. Also, can I just say that I thought the video phones in the original anime were so cool back in the day. You know, before Skype and smart phones.

So... Happy Super Duper Late Mother's Day!... I'm going to go work on a Father's Day extra. Maybe that one will at least be posted in the same month as the holiday.
